Hokuto Shinken is invincible!

I've been recently pretty obsessed lately with the manga and anime Fist of the North Star. It's hugely nerdy but I just can't help myself. Anyway, this is a drawing of the main character, Kenshiro. Don't be surprised if you see more drawings of these characters in the future.

AN UPDATE!!

Ok, so I know it's been a crazy long time since I posted anything. I promise the time hasn't been wasted. I recently changed careers and have been trying to enjoy my summer and doing both has been murder on my art production.

Anyway, my crew here in Cleveland recently lost one of it's favorite members to San Francisco and we thought we could each do a self portrait in our own styles and combine them into one big piece we could frame and present to her as a gift. Below is my self portrait along with the final image all put together. The artists from left to right are: Chris Hsu, Amy Shoff, Myself, Claire Mojher (she also did our little dog Lily), Dan Liuzzi, Julia Kuo, Ali Kurzeja, and Coleen Kolarik.

This has been a long time coming. Inexplicably, finishing this piece took like 6 months or something. There were many tough decisions that needed to be made. Anyway I'm really happy with it and I hope you enjoy it.

This is the Valentine I made this year to give to my sweetie. I would have put it up sooner but I didn't want any of you crumb bums stealing my sentiments to use on your own ladies for nefarious purposes.

AKA Thriller: A Cruel Picture

Here's my newest contribution to Sketch Slackers. This is a movie poster for "They Call Her One Eye." It's a pretty killer movie and one of Tarantino's influences for "Kill Bill." If you're interested, there's another cut of the movie called "Thriller: A Cruel Picture," that has some really explicit porn scenes cut into the movie. Enjoy!!!
