Obama 2.0

I was commissioned to do a new drawing of President Obama. Where the old drawing was more neutral this one, being a commission, is certainly more pro-Obama. If you are a republican visitor judge me not by the subject of my work but on its quality. Because objectively, it's pretty killer. Thank you.

Keepin' the Proto-art comin'

Ok it seems that many people are receiving their long awaited Protomen CD in the mail. I feel safe now posting some more of the work I did for the booklet. Now, this is just my drawing and it looks much different in the actual booklet. One of these days I'm going to do a totally finished and highly rendered version of this that is so awesome it will basically kill anyone that gazes upon it.

I think I'm gonna wait a week or so before putting up the other work I did for the new Protomen album. I don't want to spoil the suprise for those waiting for their copy to arrive. This here is the very first thing I did after I heard the Protomen. It is also what led to my first correspondence with them and ultimately to working for them. Enjoy.

The Future...I Illustrates it

Here, at last, is the project I've been working on for the last few months. It's currently being used to countdown the seconds until the release of The Protomen's new album. The Protomen, by the way, are an amazing band. Blade Runner...thing

Here's something I did a little while ago. I was trying to mix a bit of graphic design with my illustration. I guess it's intended as a DVD cover. I couldn't decide which version I like best so I've just included all of them. If you prefer one over the others write me a comment and let me know.

Many apologies for having not posted in a billion years. I have no excuse. Big things have been happening ! I have been working on a project for a rad band for a good long time now and I will be posting that project (and a link to it's animated counterpart) as soon as I know I can. In the meantime I am in a custom skate deck show right now at the Pop-Shop and this is my submission. Hope you like!

New President!!

Most people know that I am really not interested in doing presidents beyond the turn of the century. For some reason they stopped wearing awesome facial hair and they just became boring to look at. But, I have made an exception in celebration of the upcoming transfer of power. Behold! Barack Obama with a tortoise atop his wise and humble head. Prints of this image are for sale at my Etsy store. I am limiting the number of prints produced to twenty so get one quickly or you won't get one at all.
